Lil Spitzer : Executive Director : lils@beckstrand.org
Since October of 2003, Lil Spitzer has served as Executive Director of Beckstrand Cancer Foundation. In her role, Lil provides the leadership that sustains the organization, guiding its volunteer board of directors and paid staff, and providing direction for the Foundation's unique patient assistance programs. Under her guidance, BCF has grown in size, reach and influence, gaining significant recognition for its annual gala fundraiser, which in 2006 and 2007 netted over $1 million to assist cancer patients.

Spitzer’s vision and dedication has propelled Beckstrand Cancer Foundation from a small, relatively unknown non-profit to the forefront of leading Orange County charities. As the Foundation has garnered more community attention, both the medical and social services professions are calling Beckstrand the missing link in the area of oncology.

Lil earned a B.A. in Psychology with a Social Ecology emphasis from the University of California, Irvine, graduating summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
