Beckstrand Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving and enhancing quality of life for cancer patients and their families.
If the diagnosis is cancer, the prognosis is only the first concern. Treatment is often debilitating and is usually prolonged. A normal work schedule can be impossible, and even a robust savings account can be quickly depleted. In fact, each year there are nearly 1.4 million new cases of cancer diagnosed, and little support is available to assist patients with day-to-day living and basic needs during chemotherapy and radiation.
This is when Beckstrand Cancer Foundation helps bridge the gap between research and conventional social services by providing financial assistance, patient advocacy, counseling and other resources.
