BECKSTRAND CANCER FOUNDATION UNVEILS NEWLY RE-BRANDED LOGO
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (April 7, 2008) – Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing financial assistance and patient advocacy to cancer patients and their families, announced it has completed re-branding of the Foundation’s logo. The newly unveiled logo introduces a butterfly icon intended to symbolize the Foundation’s goals of providing hope, freedom, rebirth and renewal.
“The Beckstrand butterfly shows a fullness of life, which we endeavor to give those impacted by the life-altering disease of cancer,” explained Lil Spitzer, Executive Director of Beckstrand Cancer Foundation. “We look forward to incorporating the butterfly as a beacon of hope, and as a promise to cancer patients that we will do everything we can to improve and enhance their quality of life.”
The re-branded logo icon consists of two side-views of butterflies coming together to form one complete, whole butterfly. The weight of the butterfly’s lines is bold and strong, yet the colors are warm and inviting. The earthy, brown wing is illustrated as a stylized B, and the logotype uses a thick bold font. Indicative of the stability, dependability and comforting care the foundation provides, the “Beckstrand Cancer Foundation” name is displayed in a strong yet approachable mixed case.
