BECKSTRAND CANCER FOUNDATION BENEFITS FROM GENEROUS SUPPORTERS AT LOUIS VUITTON, NEIMAN MARCUS FASHION ISLAND EVENT

Preview of Tahitiennes Collection Yields $70,000-plus in Sales, Portion of Proceeds will Support Area Cancer Patients

NEWPORT BEACH/COSTA MESA, Calif. (May 5, 2008) – Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, which aims to improve and enhance the quality of life of cancer patients and their families, announced today that the generosity of its supporters yielded more than $70,000 in sales and $7,000 in benefit proceeds, at Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus Fashion Island. The event, held May 1 at Louis Vuitton in Neiman Marcus Fashion Island, attracted both new and longtime supporters of the Foundation, who previewed and purchased from the designer’s new Tahitiennes Collection. A portion of the evening’s proceeds was dedicated to the Foundation’s financial support and patient advocacy programs.

“Louis Vuitton and Neiman Marcus Fashion Island continue to display amazing generosity by supporting Beckstrand Cancer Foundation’s mission of providing much-needed assistance to cancer patients throughout Orange County and Los Angeles,” said Lil Spitzer, Executive Director of Beckstrand Cancer Foundation. “We’re moved by their ongoing commitment to these patients and to Beckstrand Cancer Foundation.”

Attendees of the casually chic event enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as they browsed Louis Vuitton’s stunning Tahitiennes Collection of leathergoods and accessories.
