BECKSTRAND CANCER FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES TWO STAFF ADDITIONS: MANAGER OF OFFICE AND PATIENT SERVICES, DEVELOPMENT INTERN
Sarah Unke and Taylor Gramkow Join Nonprofit in Support of Local Cancer Community

NEWPORT BEACH, California (July 17, 2009) – Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving and enhancing quality of life for cancer patients and their families, has announced that Sarah Unke and Taylor Gramkow have joined the organization. Unke will serve as Manager of Office and Patient Services and Gramkow as Development Intern.

“The entire staff and Board of Directors are excited to welcome Sarah and Taylor to Beckstrand Cancer Foundation,” shares Lil Spitzer, its Executive Director. “Their experience and ambition, coupled with their undeniable compassion for those in need, will be assets to us and to the community.”

Unke received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Concordia University after studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. In her new position at the Foundation, Unke will oversee administrative operations, serve as liaison between patient beneficiaries and Executive Staff, and help coordinate support for local events. She currently resides in Costa Mesa, California.

Gramkow is a student at Chapman University, scheduled to earn his bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2009. He is the current president of the school’s Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He resides in Orange, California.
