CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT JEFFREY HIPSHMAN JOINS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT BECKSTRAND CANCER FOUNDATION

NEWPORT BEACH, California (March 22, 2010) – Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enhancing quality of life for cancer patients and their families, today announced that the Foundation’s Board of Directors elected a new member at its regular meeting on March 16, 2010. Jeffrey Hipshman is a Certified Public Accountant and Partner at HMWC CPAs & Business Advisors in Tustin.

Hipshman specializes in family wealth planning for the high net worth individual, as well as business and tax planning for the closely held business and its owners. His experience extends to estate and retirement planning, internal accounting systems, internal financial controls, tax minimization strategies, planning and structuring for complex transactions, consulting for business formations, liquidations and dispositions, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, working capital/cash flow management, and assistance with debt or equity financing.

After joining HMWC CPAs & Business Advisors in 1982, Hipshman advanced to Partner in 1989. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University in 1980. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
