NEIMAN MARCUS FASHION ISLAND TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL STILETTO STRUT BENEFITING BECKSTRAND CANCER FOUNDATION APRIL 24

NEWPORT BEACH, California (March 22, 2010) – Neiman Marcus Fashion Island is where all of Orange County’s most fashionable ladies will be on April 24, 2010 for the Second Annual Stiletto Strut benefiting Beckstrand Cancer Foundation. Perfect as a mother-daughter outing or girls’ day out, the event reminds attendees that the season’s most sought after statement shoes can be found at Neiman Marcus Fashion Island.

"We’re delighted to partner with Neiman Marcus Fashion Island for the second consecutive year at the Stiletto Strut,” shared Lil Spitzer, the Foundation’s Executive Director. “We’re confident that women throughout Orange County who love designer shoes and fashion will not only have a great time, they will enjoy the unmistakable fulfillment that comes with helping those less fortunate – and the Stiletto Strut does just that. It helps local cancer patients who genuinely need patient advocacy and direct financial assistance.

The well-heeled will be stepping out to support Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit focused exclusively on improving and enhancing quality of life for cancer patients and their families. Attendees will walk or strut at their own pace around Fashion Island’s custom stiletto promenade, picking up goodies from Fashion Island merchants to fill their Stiletto Strut tote bags along the way. Then, the event moves indoors to Neiman Marcus’ second floor Couture Salon, where lunch by R + D Kitchen will be served amid a fashion show highlighting the season’s latest trends for Spring.
