BECKSTRAND CANCER FOUNDATION GROWS BOARD OF DIRECTORS WITH ADDITION OF RENETTA CAYA, ALANA LEE AND LINNSEY WORKMAN
NEWPORT BEACH, California (January 24, 2011) – Beckstrand Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enhancing quality of life for cancer patients and their families, today announced that the Foundation’s Board of Directors elected three new members at its regular meeting on Jan. 18, 2011: Renetta Caya of Standard Drywall, Inc., Alana Orsborn Lee from Nett Solutions and Linnsey Workman of Quiksilver.
Caya is a community philanthropist from Corona del Mar and longtime supporter of the Foundation who recently served as its Gala Chair for The Diamond & Pearl Ball 2010, which raised $1.1 million for local cancer patients. Her motivation for joining the Board stems from a family history of cancer. She currently serves as Vice President at Standard Drywall and holds a degree in law from Loyola Law School. Lee lives in Tustin and acts as Sales & Marketing Consultant for Nett Solutions, having previously worked in the capacity of Marketing Coordinator for the St. Regis Residence Club in Aspen, Colo. She is degreed from the University of California, Los Angeles. Workman is a past and current member of the Gala Committee for The Diamond & Pearl Ball. She holds the position of Corporate Counsel for Quiksilver, one of the world’s foremost youth apparel and accessories companies. She resides in Newport Beach and earned her law degree from Georgetown University.
